Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH)

ARD works to improve access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene for vulnerable communities affected by drought, displacement and limited basic services.

Safe Water for Healthier Communities

Drought, displacement and inadequate infrastructure leave many communities without reliable access to safe water and sanitation, increasing the risk of disease and placing additional pressure on vulnerable families.

ARD works with communities, local authorities and partners to provide emergency water assistance, improve access to safe water and promote better sanitation and hygiene practices.

Our programme prioritises internally displaced families, drought-affected communities, women, children and other vulnerable households with limited access to essential WASH services.
