Conflict, displacement, poverty and limited access to health services leave many families vulnerable to preventable illness and malnutrition, particularly women and children.
ARD works with communities, health authorities and partners to improve access to essential health and nutrition support, promote healthy practices and strengthen community awareness.
Our programme prioritises children, pregnant and breastfeeding women, internally displaced families and other vulnerable people with limited access to essential services.
Established by ARD in 2019 in Baidoa, Imam Zeyli’i School provides free primary and secondary education to children from vulnerable and underserved communities. The school provides a safe and inclusive learning environment designed to give children the opportunity to learn and build a better future.
